Second RNG project completed by Midwestern Contractors & Electric Conduit Construction
This project included a joint trench containing fiber optic cable, renewable natural gas, fuel gas, and water. About 2000' of right-of-way needed grading and compaction for future access. All fiber was run inside conduit and through a larger casing in the directional bore area.

Little kids like to ask questions. When our Project Manager, Storm Clark, started talking about pipeline construction, heavy equipment and personal protective equipment, he opened the floodgates. Pre-school students came away with something else to be curious about.
The Proper Way to Lift
Construction is labor intensive. Machines certainly do the heavy lifting but many things still need to moved around by hand. Wood skids, pallets, plywood, small pipe and fittings, pumps, generators, jack hammers, hydraulic jacks and energy packs. The list goes on. These items can weight 30 to over 100 pounds. improper lift techniques can pull muscles, strain backs and tear tendons. Midwestern Contractors believes that these injuries are avoidable.
